Welcome to our lab website! We’re interested in how the brain encodes, represents, and manipulates visual information to make decisions and solve problems. We explore these questions by coupling behavioral techniques with with non-invasive measurements of human brain activity - primarily EEG and functional MRI. Our lab’s research is funded by the Nevada System of Higher Education and the National Science Foundation.

To learn more or see examples of specific projects we’re working on, check out our recent publications below. You can also get in touch with us via the contact link at the top of the page.

PS - JOB ALERT KLAXON! We’re recruiting a graduate student for the Fall 2021 admissions cycle (applications due 12/15/2020). If you’d like to know more about UNR’s Psychology or Neuroscience graduate programs, please get in touch!
